After cooling by the condenser, it will become a liquid and eventually be collected. During this process, the solute in the liquid will rise with the vapor to form a film, but due to its large molecular weight, it is difficult to pass through the condenser, so it will gradually concentrate in the evaporator.

The working principle of a rising film evaporator can be divided into two stages: evaporation and concentration. During the evaporation stage, the liquid is heated to get vapor, which moves upwards with the rising film and cools down through the condenser before becoming a liquid. During the concentration stage, the solute in the liquid gradually concentrates until it reaches the expected concentration.
